That They All May Be One

Christmas Carol Service  2007

.                         The United Kingdom has stepped into the festive season with lots and lots of lights and carols. The UK CSI Malayalam Parish was one of the early singers of the season, the parish choir celebrated its first Christmas carol service on 9th December. The 2007 Christmas Carol Service was a wonderful experience by God's grace. The choir which was formed a couple of months ago with a few voices, has grown into 19 members with  13 members in the Senior Choir and 5 Juniors. They presented 10 carols under the leadership of the Choir Master Dr. Philip John. It was a traditional style service with Christmas carols, readings and a short talk. Thanks to all those who have attended the Christmas Carol service to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Rev Stephan Welch, Archdeacon of Middlesex, who was the Guest of Honour for this year’s Carol service, deliverd an inspiring Christmas message. We thank the Archdeacon, Rev. Dr. Jacob Thomas, Rev. Dr. John Perumbalathu and Rev. Stephen Caple  for their participation and leadership during the occasion. Our special thanks to Mr. Mathew Thomas (Deeperwaters printing, London) for sponsoring the Carol Service programme sheet printing and Mr. Babu Joseph (UK contact representative, Olive Builders, Kochi) for part sponsoring the Christmas dinner.
